5.9 Earthquake Rocks East Coast

QUOTE: "A 5.9 magnitude earthquake centered in Virginia forced evacuations of all the monuments in Washington and rattled nerves from the southern state of Georgia to Martha's Vineyard, the Massachusetts island in the northeast where President Barack Obama is vacationing. No injuries were immediately reported."

This is after a once-in-40-years earthquake hit Colorado yesterday. I'll have to do a bit more research to find out if it's true, but I've been hearing that both of these quakes are roughly on the same latitude as the big one in Japan back in March.  If so, there may indeed be something weird happening....  Regardless, it's a good reminder to check up on your earthquake preps no matter where you live.
