Where to live in the US to avoid a natural disaster

Interesting.  Looks like our neck of the woods (Corvallis, OR/Salem, OR) is considered to be the safest.  Other than the tsunami threat (which is reduced by living further inland) I've long thought that the area we live is a great option as a survival/preparedness retreat.  Not saying that everyone else should move here, however.... ;)
